Instead of commanding the servo to move to a specific angle and hold it, you send it standard PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signals to control its rotational speed and direction. Sending a "center" signal (1500 microseconds or 90 degrees in code) makes the motor stop. Signals below 1500µs will cause it to rotate continuously in one direction, while signals above 1500µs will spin it in the opposite direction, with the speed increasing the further you get from the center value. It provides an impressive 5.5 kg-cm of torque, making it an incredibly popular, hassle-free drive motor for custom 2-wheel and 4-wheel robotic platforms.
