- Communication Interface: Analog Devices 1-Wire protocol, which requires only a single digital pin for communication.
- Temperature Range: Measures from -55°C to +125°C.
- Accuracy: ±0.5°C precision within the critical range of -10°C to +85°C.
- Operating Voltage: 3.0V to 5.5V, making it fully compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
- Configurable Resolution: User-programmable from 9-bit to 12-bit precision.
- Unique ROM ID: Every individual chip has a unique, factory-etched 64-bit serial code, enabling multiple sensors to reside on the same single data wire.
- GND (Pin 1): Connects to the system ground.
- DQ / DATA (Pin 2): The data input/output pin. It requires a 4.7kΩ pull-up resistor connected between this pin and the power supply line (VDD) for reliable communication.
- VDD (Pin 3): Power supply pin. Alternatively, the sensor supports parasitic power mode, where it derives power directly from the data line, allowing operation using only two pins (GND and DQ).
