The E220-400T22D LoRa Module by EBYTE is a highly advanced, industrial-grade wireless transceiver built around Semtech’s next-generation LLCC68 radio frequency chip. Designed to operate in the 433MHz ISM band, this module upgrades standard LoRa communication by offering enhanced transmission efficiency, lower power consumption, and improved anti-interference capabilities compared to older SX1278-based models.

What makes the E220 series truly stand out is its integrated microcontroller. It entirely abstracts the complex SPI programming normally required for LoRa chips, providing a simple, transparent UART (serial) interface. You can send data up to 5 kilometers away just by pushing standard serial text or hex data from your microcontroller. Furthermore, its logic pins are natively compatible with both 3.3V and 5V systems, allowing you to wire it directly to an Arduino Uno, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi without needing external logic level shifters.

Key Features & Functional Advantages:

  • Next-Gen LLCC68 Chip: Utilizes advanced LoRa Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum technology, drastically improving receiver sensitivity (-147 dBm) and network stability in heavy RF-noise environments.

  • Transparent UART Transmission: Replaces complex radio configuration with standard serial data transfer. Simply connect the TX and RX pins to your board to start broadcasting strings or packets wirelessly.

  • Dual-Voltage Logic Compatibility: The TX, RX, and AUX pins automatically accommodate both 3.3V and 5V logic levels, eliminating the risk of burning out the module when connected to 5V microcontrollers.

  • Wake-On-Radio (WOR): Features ultra-low power consumption modes (deep sleep draws as little as 5µA). The module can automatically wake up upon receiving a valid air signal, making it perfect for battery-powered sensor nodes.

  • Smart Addressing & RSSI: Supports point-to-point addressing, network broadcasting, and real-time Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) byte output to help you map signal quality and optimize antenna placement.

Perfect For:

  • Arduino & 5V Prototyping: The ultimate hassle-free LoRa solution for standard 5V Arduino boards thanks to its built-in voltage and logic tolerance.

  • Industrial Sensor Networks: Build robust, self-healing telemetry networks across sprawling manufacturing plants, warehouses, or agricultural fields.

  • Smart Home & Automation: Create custom, long-range wireless links for garage doors, security gates, and environmental monitors that easily penetrate multiple concrete walls.

  • Low-Power Remote Nodes: Deploy battery-operated weather stations and soil moisture sensors that can sleep for months and wake up only when pinged by the central gateway.

Technical Specifications:
