Unlike passive antennas, this active model features a built-in Low Noise Amplifier (LNA). This amplifier actively boosts weak satellite signals right at the source before sending them down the cable, drastically reducing time-to-first-fix (TTFF) and preventing signal drops.

Housed in a durable, weatherproof radome, this antenna features a strong magnetic base and a long extension cable (typically 3 meters). This allows you to mount the antenna outside on a vehicle roof or on top of a metal control cabinet, while your sensitive electronics and GPS module remain safely sheltered inside.
