Built around the Texas Instruments CC2541 chipset, the HM-10 provides low-power wireless communication between microcontrollers and BLE-enabled devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers. It communicates through a simple UART serial interface, making integration with Arduino, STM32, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other development platforms quick and easy.

Unlike classic Bluetooth modules such as HC-05 and HC-06, the HM-10 uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 4.0), offering lower power consumption and excellent compatibility with modern Android and iOS devices. The module supports both Master and Slave modes and can be fully configured using AT commands.
