Hardware Interfacing & Pins
The built-in I2C adapter translates serial data into parallel signals required by the screen. This configuration leaves you with exactly 4 functional pins to wire into your main controller board:
  • VCC: Connects directly to your microcontroller's 5V supply line.
  • GND: Connects straight to the system's ground terminal.
  • SDA (Serial Data): Connects to your development board's data line.
  • SCL (Serial Clock): Connects to your development board's clock cycle line. 
On-Board Adjustments
  • Contrast Potentiometer: A small blue trim screw sits on the back surface of the I2C adapter board. If your display turns on but shows completely blank blocks or no text, gently twist this knob with a screwdriver to sharpen the text contrast.
  • Backlight Control Jumper: A physical black plastic cap bridges a two-pin header labeled LED. Pulling this jumper completely cuts power to the green backlight
