The MAX6675 Module with a K-Type Thermocouple is a digital temperature sensor kit capable of measuring extreme high-temperature ranges from 0°C to 1024°C. The module utilizes the Maxim MAX6675 IC, which amplifies the tiny voltage produced by the thermocouple, performs cold-junction compensation, and converts the analog readings into a clean 12-bit digital signal.

Module Pinout Configuration
The module features two sets of connections: a 2-terminal block for the sensor probe and a 5-pin header for the microcontroller.
Thermocouple Terminal Connections
  • + (Positive): Connects to the red lead of the K-type thermocouple.
  • - (Negative): Connects to the blue/black lead of the K-type thermocouple.
    (If your sensor reports decreasing temperatures when exposed to heat, simply swap these two wires).
Microcontroller Header Pins
  • GND: Ground connection.
  • VCC: Power supply (3.0V - 5.5V).
  • SCK / CLK: Serial Clock input pin.
  • CS: Chip Select input pin.
  • SO / DO: Serial Data Output pin (MISO).
