The new dual-voltage HC-SR04 ultrasonic distance sensor operates natively on a wide voltage range of 3.3V to 5V DC. This major upgrade completely eliminates the need for complex, manual voltage dividers when interfacing the sensor with modern 3.3V microcontrollers like the Raspberry Pi, ESP32, or Arduino Nano Every.

Standard 4-Pin Interface

  • Echo: Output pin. Stays HIGH for the exact duration of the sound wave's round trip.GND: Ground connection.
