A pulse heart rate sensor is an electronic device that measures a person's heartbeat in real-time by tracking changes in blood volume. 
How it Works
The sensor uses Photoplethysmography (PPG), an optical measurement technique: 
  • Light Emission: A green LED shines light into a thin area of skin, like a fingertip.
  • Absorption: Oxygen-rich blood absorbs this green light.
  • Detection: As the heart pumps, blood volume rises and falls rhythmically.
  • Output: A photodetector measures the reflected light changes and converts them into a voltage waveform.
Hardware & Pinout
The sensor module filters out ambient noise and amplifies the heartbeat signal using three pins: 
  • VCC: Power supply (3V to 5V).
  • GND: Ground connection.
  • Signal: Analog output voltage connected to a microcontroller.
