The STC-3028 (12V DC variant) is an all-in-one digital controller that simultaneously monitors and regulates both temperature and humidity. It features dual independent relay outputs, making it ideal for egg incubators, greenhouses, reptile enclosures, and DIY environmental control systems.

Pins 8 & 9 Humidity Relay Acts as a switch for your Humidifier or Dehumidifier (Max 10A)
Note: The relay pins (6/7 and 8/9) are dry contacts and do not output power. You must route power through them to run your loads.

Key Operation and Programming
The display features four buttons divided into two groups:
  • Group 1 (Left): Temperature buttons ▲1 (Up) and ▼1 (Down).
  • Group 2 (Right): Humidity buttons ▲2 (Up) and ▼2 (Down).
1. Checking Your Targets
  • Press ▲1 or ▲2 once to view the Start values.
  • Press ▼1 or ▼2 once to view the Stop values.
2. Modifying Settings
  1. Long-press any arrow button for 3 seconds until the screen flashes.
  2. Use the Up and Down buttons to adjust your value.
  3. Wait 5 seconds without pressing anything to automatically save the parameters.
3. Determining the Mode (Heating vs. Cooling)
The controller figures out what mode to run automatically based on your target numbers:
  • Heating Mode: Set the Start Temp lower than the Stop Temp. (Example: Start at 37.0°C / Stop at 37.8°C).
  • Cooling Mode: Set the Start Temp higher than the Stop Temp. (Example: Start at 30.0°C / Stop at 25.0°C).
  • Humidifying Mode: Set the Start Humidity lower than the Stop Humidity.
  • Dehumidifying Mode: Set the Start Humidity higher than the Stop Humidity.
4. Sensor Calibration
If your readings are slightly off from a calibrated reference tool, you can apply an offset:
  • Temperature Calibration: Hold ▲1 and ▼1 simultaneously for 2 seconds to adjust the temperature offset.
  • Humidity Calibration: Hold ▲2 and ▼2 simultaneously for 2 seconds to adjust the humidity offset.
