The TCRT5000 3-Channel Infrared Line Track Sensor Module is an integrated sensor array designed for autonomous robot navigation, surface contrast detection, and line-following applications. It mounts three independent TCRT5000 optical sensors onto a single board, allowing a microcontroller to simultaneously detect edges and execute tracking algorithms.

How It Works
Each channel features an IR emitting diode and a phototransistor:
  • Light Surfaces: IR light reflects into the phototransistor, pulling the output LOW.
  • Dark Surfaces: IR light is absorbed, leaving the phototransistor un-triggered, pulling the output HIGH.
  • Status LEDs: Onboard indicators light up to provide immediate visual feedback.
