The TTP223B digital capacitive touch sensor is a compact electronic switch module that replaces traditional mechanical buttons. It detects changes in electrical capacitance when a human finger touches or nears the sensor pad. 
Core Specifications
  • Voltage: 2.0V to 5.5V DC (Works with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi)
  • Response Time: ~60ms in fast mode; ~220ms in low-power mode
  • Sensing Depth: Triggers through glass, plastic, or wood up to 5mm thick
  • Pins: VCC (Power), GND (Ground), SIG (Digital Signal Output) 
Configurable Modes
By bridging or leaving open the solder pads A and B on the module, you can change its behavior: 
  • Momentary Active-High (Default): Outputs HIGH only while being touched.
  • Momentary Active-Low: Outputs LOW only while being touched.
  • Toggle / Latch Active-High: Touch once to stay HIGH; touch again to go LOW.
  • Toggle / Latch Active-Low: Touch once to stay LOW; touch again to go HIGH.
