The SW-18010P breakout module is a highly sensitive, non-directional vibration and shock sensor. It features a spring-and-pin mechanism that briefly closes the circuit when moved, making it ideal for anti-theft alarms, impact detection, and system wake-ups. Most modules operate at 3V to 5V and include an onboard comparator for clean digital signals. 
Pinout Configuration
Breakout boards typically feature 3 or 4 pins: 
  • VCC: Connects to 3.3V or 5V
  • GND: Connects to Ground
  • DO (Digital Output): Sends a digital signal (High/Low) to your microcontroller
  • AO (Analog Output): Provides a raw analog signal indicating vibration intensity (only available on 4-pin modules) 
How it Works
Inside the sensor's black casing, a thin, flexible spring is wrapped around a central conductive pin. 
  • At Rest: The spring and pin do not touch, leaving the circuit open (normally open state).
  • During Vibration: The spring wobbles and makes contact with the pin, momentarily closing the circuit.
  • Onboard LED: When contact is made, the module's green indicator light turns on, and the digital output (DO) temporarily drops to a logic low level. 
Wiring & Usage
You can directly interface this sensor with a microcontroller like an Arduino.
Wiring Steps:
  1. Connect VCC to 5V on your microcontroller.
  2. Connect GND to Ground.
  3. Connect DO to a digital pin
