The W1088 Dual LED Digital Temperature Controller (12V version) is an independent, two-channel digital thermostat designed to control two separate heating or cooling zones simultaneously. It is commonly used for automated climate control in aquariums, incubators, greenhouses, and DIY electronics. 
Because this is a Direct Output unit, the voltage supplied to the input (12V DC) is actively passed through to the output terminals when a channel turns on.

Wiring Guide
The unit features two distinct sections on its terminal block:
  1. Power Input (Left side): Connect your 12V DC power supply here. Ensure the positive (+) and negative (-) polarities match the labeling on the case. 
  2. Yellow/Black or Output Terminals (Right side): These correspond to Output 1 and Output 2. When a channel activates, it sends 12V DC directly through these lines to power your 12V heater or 12V cooling fan.

Quick Programming Guide
The controller automatically determines its operating mode based on your start and stop temperatures. 
  • Heating Mode Setup (Start Temp is lower than Stop Temp):
    1. Hold the UP arrow (for Channel 1 or 2) until the display flashes. Use the arrows to set your desired lower turn-on temperature.
    2. Hold the DOWN arrow until the display flashes. Use the arrows to set your desired higher turn-off temperature. 
  • Cooling Mode Setup (Start Temp is higher than Stop Temp):
    1. Hold the UP arrow until the display flashes. Set your higher turn-on temperature (e.g., when a cooling fan should start).
    2. Hold the DOWN arrow until the display flashes. Set your lower turn-off temperature (e.g., when the target coolness is reached).

Advanced Menu Features
Access advanced calibration and protective features by using button combinations: 
  • Factory Reset: Power on the device, then hold both the DOWN 1 and DOWN 2 buttons simultaneously. The display will show 888 to confirm the reset. 
  • Temperature Calibration: Hold UP 1 and DOWN 1 at the same time for 3 seconds to offset sensor variances. 
  • Delay Start & Alarms: Press UP 1 and UP 2 together briefly to access secondary menus (P0/P1 for 0–60 minute start delays, and P2/P3 for high/low safety temperature alarms).
